These men are described as shepherds who pastor the flock (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts 20&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Acts 20:28<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1 Peter 5&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I Peter 5:2<\/a>). They are to humbly serve the local church and to lead by example (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1 Peter 5&amp;version=NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I Peter 5:3<\/a>).
